Frequently Asked Questions

Who are we?

We support anyone for free, whether you are just starting work, have already been working or are returning after a break. It doesn’t matter whether you are looking for part time, temporary or full-time permanent work, we are here to help.

We have a small team of experienced coaches who offer a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental environment to help you identify and meet your job-searching goals.

How does it work?

Anyone can book a programme with us by completing the booking form.

You will be assigned a coach who will meet up with you as soon as a session becomes available.

Your first 50-minute session will be a chance to get to know your coach, discuss what you need and often there is time to build or update your CV.  If you would like further coaching support sessions they can be booked at the end of your time with your coach.

All our sessions are booked in advance. Your coach will not normally be available outside Tuesday mornings but may occasionally be in touch by email at other times. If you require it, we are happy to offer Zoom/Teams meetings, and will help you install and use the program if needed.

What if I am 17 or 18 years old?

We have helped several young people approaching school/college leaving age to find part time or temporary work.

We encourage them to involve a parent or carer and often have an initial meeting with the individual and their preferred responsible adult.
